Artist's Comments

She waited for three sunny afternoons
sitting and looking but
it never came for her so she let go
& finally spilled
like wet paint through the window &
towards the cold ground.

-------
In the upper window of my friend's barn.
Must've been at least 15 feet up off the ground
Rach was kind enough to put up with my spontaneity,
& climbed up through the trap door in complete darkness
to let me shoot this one.

One of my favorites <3

The white of the dress contrasts well with the red...seems to make the red more vibrant. And the black leggings are good to match the dark interior of the barn. Great framing...I like how you didn't focus on her face, but rather her body...the sitting position. As your description implies it seems like she's waiting, and this is a good shot to show it. I also love the sunflowers. Gahhh i just love this. =)
