Goodness, time flies. It's been an awfully long time since I've considered myself an active photographer.  I guess life got in the way for awhile, and photography took the backseat. A year has passed and I'm heading into my sophomore year at the University of Michigan now and I couldn't be happier.  I just got a new Nikon D40 (which I ADORE) and I'm back in the swing of photography.  Recently took plenty of new pictures while visiting my boyfriend in Washington state. I'm certainly glad to be back on DA again!

Oh my.  It's been several thousand weeks or so since I last updated my journal.  Perhaps the time has come again. Well, that said, I suppose I should preface my next series of pictures I'll be submitting.  I just spent the past two weeks in Hawaii with two of my best friends as a trip after graduation!  It was one of the best experiences I've ever had, and I absolutely was able to get some great photography. Truly, though, none of the pictures can even begin to do justice to the beauty of the island.  Everything is so much...BIGGER than it looks in the pictures.  It's just so majestic and huge and you constantly feel like you're craning y

I've never been too big on celebrating the holidays via my photo accounts, but I suppose that a little cheer couldn't hurt.  So Merry Christmas to all, and other general happiness like that. Anyways. As I was checking up on others' journal entries (which is surprising in itself)  I happened across a fun little feature game in minniemouse123's journal. SO The first ten people to comment on this journal will have their work featured in this journal!
